Meet the Producers

We at Arrogant Marketing are constantly striving to make artists social circles larger, make the world smaller through networking, and increase everyone’s ability to make a living as a creative. The Kill The Beat contest is one way we seek to introduce talented individuals to each other and make a powerful movement behind the networking of every individual that participates and spectates. As the beat package has been delivered we await the quality tracks to be made with our producers music as the backdrop. We would like to take this time to introduce the producers and their thoughts on networking and being indie artists themselves. Keep in mind this is just an introduction to the producers and their music, the beat package was sent to all contestants this morning by email which includes the remaining beat selection.

Our first esteemed producer is an integral part of the New Mexico music scene and has a strong movement behind him. He is GodGang and he represents what an independent artist can do with a powerful network and a keen eye for music composition. His name is Joe Bz. He is an integral part of Universal Battle Realm’s organization and just happens to be a music phenom as well. His music is known internationally and garners plenty of attention on any of his work that he posts to social media. His beats usually fly of shelves within minutes. So get ready to be blessed by his music. Listen below to one of his compositions made specifically for this contest. Joe BZ also asked that we let everyone know that he hates them and hopes they all lose.

We caught up with Petrichor out of El Paso, Texas as well. A name that is synonymous with quality music in the region he has offered his words of wisdom to help aspiring artists out in the field. Be on the lookout from this producer as he is making waves in his city and beyond. His music is listed below to preview as well as some words of wisdom when asked about networking he stated;

“I would say the best way to network with other artists is by just being a genuine person and make sure to have the artist(s) know that you care about them and their music. Whether you find them in person, social media, etc, it’s imperative that you make a relationship and build rapport first. People don’t care about how much you know, they wanna know how much you care.”

Swiffy is a powerful producer who is a New Mexico transplant coming from Texas. Swiffy is a supporter of Universal Battle Realm which makes us proud. His music is heavy, catchy and energetic. One of the best producers in the region no doubt. We are excited to see what music is made with his beats as the backdrop. We have one of Swiffy’s coldest beats below and some thoughts when we asked him how important the beat is when making a hit record and he had this to say;

“Oh the beat is always the savior these days! Haha nah I think rhythm and bounce are important factors in a song being a hit. It has to make people nod their heads. It’s gotta incite emotion. It’s gotta compliment the cadence of the artist. Artists that know how to pick beats for their flow is also an important skill. All those factors together make any song a hit.”

The last producer from the region is E. Jacobs. This dude is the guy the go to for fire beats that bring a real boom bap golden era flavor to the scene. The quality of this guys music is something that is unmatched in his area. His music will make an excellent choice for any artist in the contest as well. We caught up with him and he had this to say to all the contestants about networking;

“"Through all of the methods I've played around with, the best way to network is through genuine interaction with your peers. Taking a minute to talk to somebody without any ulterior motives allows for productive conversations where you're able to share what you both bring to the table and maybe learn a thing or two from each other in doing so, while leaving the door open for collaboration down the road.”
